PRODUCTION MANAGER

Oversaw seasons of six plus productions and events for an academic theater department with a 160-seat blackbox and 500-seat proscenium theater. Conducted big-picture assessments, created production and space-use schedules, and oversaw the day-to-day operations. Managed a staff of 13 personnel; production sizes of 30-75 students, staff, faculty, and guest-hires. Planned and managed productions ranging from $7k-$115k. Led each production through the design phase to the performance phase. Oversaw various space rentals. Produced several department assessments and implemented policies and procedures according to department goals. Performed a formal review of job titles and descriptions and the organization chart. Regularly communicated with I.T., HR, Procurement, University Events, Facilities Management, Environmental Health & Safety, and other academic departments.
