Intermediate Stagecraft

This course refines the skills and techniques necessary for proficiency at the intermediate level of technical production, including the construction of scenery for the stage, rigging, standard technical theatre vocabulary, and safe work habits. The Objective of this course is to prepare the students for work in technical theater in a summer stock or other professional theater, specifically focusing on positions within the scene shop. Taught standard practices and the preparation of application materials to assist in job placement.
